π Member Spotlight: Steven’s 5 Stone Slimming World Success! π
Let’s raise a (slimline!) glass to our amazing group member, Steven, who has lost an incredible 5 stone in just 26 weeks! π. That works out at an average of 2 lb per week – slow and steady wins the race, and Steven’s shown that consistency really is the key. ποΈ
Of course, like any real journey, there were a few little hiccups along the way – the odd weekly gain here and there (hey, we’ve all been there! π ) – but Steven never let them knock him off track. In fact, his greatest loss in a single week was an amazing 7lb! π²ππͺ
What a transformation – not just in appearance, but in health, energy, and confidence too. Steven is the definition of dedication, and more than that, he’s a true gentleman – full of kindness and humility that shines through every week in group. π
His journey began, as all great Slimming World journeys do, with that proud little ½ stone certificate… then 1 stone… and on and on the success rolled! π We cheered him on week after week, celebrating every milestone and loss with pride. π₯³ Steven often found himself being crowned Slimmer of the Week (sometimes for a few weeks on the trot!) – and while he might have felt a bit bashful about it, he always accepted it with grace and a smile. π
π½οΈ Before joining Slimming World, Steven loved a good pizza and a glass (or two!) of red wine. ππ· But now? His favourites have transformed to fillet steak with steamed veg and a refreshing gin and slimline tonic – now that’s what we call food optimising! π₯©π₯¦πΈ
Steven followed the Slimming World plan to the letter – focusing on Free Food, measured Healthy Extras, and staying within his Syns. The results speak for themselves – not just on the scales, but in his life:
π§³ He’s now travelling more for work and working long hours is easier
β‘ Has way more energy in life in general

β€οΈ My general Health is much better and lower blood pressure and a resting heart rate down by 30 bpm!

And perhaps most touching of all? π¬ “The best comment I’ve had was from my daughter, who said: ‘Dad, you’re healthy now!’” π₯Ήπ
Steven says he was initially nervous about joining Slimming World but now loves coming to group – he’s made new friends and found a place that’s welcoming and encouraging. He even added (which made the consultant blush a little!) that the group works well because of the way it’s run and that the consultant is “real inspiration and figurehead” π₯°
Steven’s advice to his past self – and to anyone starting out: “Stick at the Slimming World plan – it definitely works.”β β¨
