It's a chance to celebrate those who lift others up, encourage their fellow members, share positivity and prove that with determination and belief, amazing things really can happen. ❤️ The best part? It’s that time of year again… and we’re starting to think about Adrian’s Slimming World Christmas Party 2026! 🎅🪩 Would you love to join us for a brilliant night of food, music, dancing and festive fun with your Slimming World friends? 🥢 After lots of experimenting in the kitchen, I think I’ve finally cracked it! 🎉 I’ve been tweaking this stir fry sauce for quite a while, making little changes here and there until it was just right… and now I’m excited to share it with all my lovely members! ❤️ It’s quick, simple, packed with flavour and best of all… SWIP FREE! 🙌 The best bit? You don’t even need fresh garlic or ginger if you haven’t got them in. Garlic granules and ground ginger work brilliantly too, so it’s made from ingredients many of us already have in the cupboard. 🧄🌿 Simply mix everything together, gently simmer for a few minutes (don’t let it boil! 😉) and then pour it over your favourite stir fry, noodles, rice, fake meat, veggie bowls… or whatever takes your fancy! 🍜🥕🧅🥒

We have those “I’ll just not count that…” moments 🙈 Some weeks we’re 100% on plan, smashing our Speed foods, tracking every SWIP… and other weeks? Well… let’s just say the memory isn’t quite as sharp 😅 But here’s the truth: That’s exactly why I’m the best person to support you. Because when you struggle — I’ve been there. When you feel in control — I’ve felt that buzz too. When you’re flying — I’m cheering the loudest 🙌 I get it. I live it. And I’m right there with you 💛 Day in My Life – Monday 27 April 2026 I decided to log a full day of eating — honestly, openly, and with zero “Instagram perfection”! I’m vegetarian, so my choices might look a bit different, but this just shows how flexible, filling and delicious this lifestyle can be. 🍳 Breakfast – Protein Power Start 2 Fried Eggs (Fry Light) → Free + Protein Birds Eye Potato Waffle → 2 Swips Mushrooms → Speed Food 🍄 Baked Beans → Free (Protein + Fibre) Chef Brown Sauce (small drizzle) → ~1 SWIP Tea with milk → Healthy Extra A Now listen… people always say “I don’t have time!” Waffles in the toaster ✔️ Eggs done in minutes ✔️ Beans… I’ll happily eat them cold 😂 Quick, filling, and keeps me going for hours — because protein is king 👑 ☕ Out & About – Real Life Temptations I had a meeting for my other job (yes… I do have one! 👀) with the Education Authority. Now THIS is danger territory… delis, sandwiches, pastries calling your name 😬 Instead: Americano → Free 250ml semi-skimmed milk (flask) → Healthy Extra A Preparation is everything. I went in armed and stayed on track 💪 🥙 Lunch – Quick, Filling & Flavour Packed Ainsley Harriott Moroccan Couscous → 2.5 Swips Vivera Shawarma Kebab (½ pack) → 1 Swip + Protein Onion (½) → Speed Food 🧅 Rocket → Speed Food 🥬 30g Cheese → Healthy Extra A Water → Free This is one of my go-to meals. Big bowl, loads of flavour, and seriously satisfying 😋 (Lactose-free cheese is a bit of a mission, but we work with what we’ve got!) ☕ Afternoon Pick-Me-Up Tea → Free Cherrylicious Hi-Fi Bar → Healthy Extra B 🍒 Honestly… this feels like a treat every single time 😍 🌳 Life Happens (and Steps Count!) By 4pm I’m out with the dogs 🐶🐶 — fresh air, sunshine, a good dander. Then into the garden, pottering about the greenhouse 🌱 This is real life — movement, not punishment. 🍲 Dinner – No Excuses, No Rules About Time! Finished in the garden around 7pm… and it’s EASY to think: “Too late… I’ll just grab rubbish.” Nope ❌ There is NO rule about what time you can eat! So I made: Tesco Stew Veg Pack → Speed Food 🥕🥬 Richmond No Chicken Pieces → Free + Protein Stock cubes → Free Tomato paste (2 tbsp) → Free Garlic & herbs → Free Worcestershire sauce splash → Free Normally I’d throw in gravy… but when I’m focused, I keep it as Free as possible 😉 Big pot. Hearty. Filling. Zero guilt. 🍓 Evening Treat (Because Why Not?) Not even that hungry… but fancied something sweet: Weetabix Choc Chip (1) → Healthy Extra B or ~3 SWIPs Raspberries & Grapes → Speed Food 🍓🍇 Remaining milk → Healthy Extra A A perfect little chocolate fix without going off track 😍 ✅ Daily Summary Healthy Extras Used: A: Milk + Cheese B: Hi-Fi Bar (+ optional Weetabix choice) Speed Foods: Mushrooms, onion, rocket, stew veg, fruit 🍎 Protein: Eggs, beans, Vivera kebab, Richmond pieces Total SWIPs: Approx. 7 Estimated Calories: ~1800. (I know we wouldn't normally mention these, but just to prove how filling and low in calories our fab Slimming World food is!) 💭 Final Thoughts That’s a LOT of food, right? No hunger. No deprivation. No guilt. Just real, filling, everyday food 🙌 And here’s the key bit… Weight loss comes from a calorie deficit — roughly: Ladies: under 2000 Gents: under 2500 But did I feel like I was “on a diet”? Not one bit 😌 💛 From Me to You I’m not perfect. I forget things. I drift sometimes. But I always come back. Sally has lost over 10 stone with Slimming World 😲👏 She began her journey with Slimming World Gilnahirk, and we are endlessly proud of everything she has achieved. But Sally’s impact goes far beyond the scales. She’s a cherished member of group and a dedicated Social Team Member , bringing passion, encouragement, and yes… very high standards 😂 to everything she does. Her pride and joy each week is our famous “Table of Interest” — making sure it’s beautifully stocked and bursting with all the amazing foods you can enjoy on our Food Optimising plan. What an incredible November it’s been in group! This Christmas, together we’ve raised a fantastic £500 for Stroke Association Northern Ireland — and I honestly couldn’t be prouder of our amazing Slimming World family 💜 Last week our morning group turned into a little winter wonderland with a mini craft fair , where talented members brought in their gorgeous handmade bits and bobs. Add in an extra-big raffle (with prizes donated straight from your own cupboards, craft rooms, and kind hearts!), and we had a morning bursting with generosity 🎁✨ And the kindness didn’t stop there! Our lovely evening groups also jumped in with additional raffle prizes and personal donations , showing once again that our community spirit shines just as brightly at 5pm and 6.30pm as it does at 9am 😄💕 We might all come together with the goal of losing weight, but as we know… Adrian’s Slimming World is so much more than a slimming club . We’re a community of people who look out for one another — and for others. Sadly, stroke has touched many families, and especially at this time of year we’re reminded just how vital it is that charities like Stroke Association NI are there to support survivors and their loved ones 💜 This latest fundraising boost has taken our total donated over the years to an incredible £2,400 . Honestly, you blow me away. Your kindness, your care, your laughter, your 5p donations every week — it all adds up, and together you have made such a meaningful impact. Review Stars: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Picture the scene, there I am, sitting in my car in the car park, thinking, will I go in or just go home, coming back to group after an absence of a few months was a difficult decision, but contrary to belief, I can't do this on my own. So coming back was the only way. Walking through the doors I had nothing yo worry about, the first thing I got was a massive hug and a welcome back from Adrian, after restarting my membership with the lovely social team, then taking a deep breath and stepping on the scales, I was back, coffee, hugs from group members and it was as if I'd never been away. So if you're thinking of coming back to group DO IT, that shame, that "here we go again" is all in your head, you've got nothing to lose only the lbs.
