Each week, I want you to leave group feeling lighter in every way – with a spring in your step, a brilliant new idea in your head, and the sparkling confidence that you’re exactly where you need to be to lose weight and stay slim for life β¨ You’ve got this – and I’ve got you! π – Adrian
At the heart of Slimming World – and of every successful weight loss journey – is Image Therapy π. It’s the part of group where the magic really happens: where we feel supported, cared for, motivated and inspired. It’s where we learn from each other, celebrate each other’s success, and come away feeling ready to face the week ahead with confidence and determination.
Our group is a learning experience – by the members, for the members – and your Consultant is there to guide and support you every step of the way. In group, we share ideas on how to Food Optimise, build healthy habits, move more, and make positive changes that help support us to lose weight – and keep it off for good.
We know that life-long success comes from creating real, sustainable habits – and our group helps you do just that. Week after week, members are reaching their personal goals and discovering the confidence to maintain them, all in a friendly, fun, uplifting and judgement-free environment.
π A Fresh, Uplifting Group Format
Over the coming weeks, you’ll notice a few small but exciting changes in how we run Image Therapy. We’re making these tweaks to create an even more positive, energising and empowering group experience – one that leaves you feeling even more motivated to succeed.
While we’ve always been proud of the support shared when going around the room with members one-by-one, we’re now moving to a new group format that focuses more on celebration, learning and shared inspiration in the group as a whole.
Rest assured – every member will continue to be supported, encouraged and celebrated every step of the way but perhaps in a less repetitive and individually focused way. Don't fear, you will still be encouraged to make your own goals and go away with the plans to make weight-loss happen.
We know the spotlight’s not everyone’s cup of tea – but don’t worry, it’s still shining bright and ready for anyone who fancies a moment to sparkle!

β 30-minute weigh-in window – your private moment at the scales, your numbers, your journey, your cuppa, your gossip and catchup with friends!
β 40-minute Learning & sharing – a vibrant group experience including:
- A warm welcome and the latest group news π¬
- Our fabulous awards ceremony ππ
- General group discussion to explore food ideas, mindset shifts, psychology of slimming, activity support and real-life success tips π½π‘π with the group as a whole
- A boost of encouragement, inspiration, and tools to help you stay focused for the week ahead πͺ
- Our Raffle Winner and the Slimmer of the Week reveal ππ

We want every minute you spend in group to be meaningful, motivating and effective. This new approach is designed to give you the very best support possible – not because what we did before was wrong, but because we’re always striving to offer an even better experience for you β€οΈ.
We’re still the same warm, fun, supportive community – just with a little more sparkle, structure and shared celebration to help us all shine brighter β¨.
