A celebration of strength, success, and slimming down – with style!

This morning, something very special happened in our Castlereagh morning group… We crowned our Man of the Year 2025! 🏆👨‍🦱🎈

We may be outnumbered by fabulous women in group, but our men? They shine just as bright – and today, we gave them the spotlight they deserve. ✨

Last week, our lovely members nominated and voted for the men who inspire them the most. The result? Two incredible finalists took centre stage this morning – the brilliant Harry and the amazing Ian! 🙌

Both gentlemen received a thunderous round of applause (honestly, I thought the roof was going to lift off! 🚀) as they stepped up to the front of the room. They may not be used to the limelight, but today they absolutely owned it – and with good reason.

🎯 Both Harry and Ian are now at their Target weights – an achievement that deserves serious celebration. They kindly shared their journeys with us, opening up about the real ups and downs of weight loss, and how they’ve transformed not only their bodies, but their entire lives.

💬 They spoke about how their confidence has grown, how they now love choosing clothes that make them feel good (who knew trousers shopping could be so emotional?! 👖😂) – and how they’ve learned to enjoy food in a whole new way. Not restrictively, but freely and in control – the Slimming World way. 💚

They were also full of gratitude – thanking their families, friends, consultant and most touchingly, their Slimming World group, for all the support, encouragement, and cheerleading each week. Because we know it’s not just about scales – it’s about community. ❤️

At the end of group, Ian was crowned our official Man of the Year 2025, with Harry taking his well-deserved place as our incredible finalist. 👑👬

We are SO proud of you both. You’ve not only changed your own lives, you’ve inspired the rest of us to believe that we can do it too – and that reaching (and maintaining!) target is absolutely possible.

So here’s to Harry and Ian – our motivational, modest, and marvellous men! 🥂👕💪. You’ve made this morning one to remember – full of laughs, a few happy tears, and a whole lot of hope for everyone watching. 🌟
